Since my last post life has not been that much fun for us! We attempted to take our first adult only vacation in 4 years which was kind of a disaster thanks to the natural disaster, Hurricane Irma, that occurred the same time and thankfully while our home and businesses were spared, our lake house got really messed up and we are in an insurance nightmare there and we all feel like we lost half the month of September to all of this chaos and business interruption.
We are coming up for air, the kids have now completed TWO FULL WEEKS OF SCHOOL...I think the first two weeks of school they have had since they started in mid August due to random three day holidays, half days, a solar eclipse, and then a hurricane.........I will post pictures soon. We are settling into a soggy start to fall we have had a tropical depression which has brought feet of rain since Sunday through today......hopefully by this weekend the weather clears up! This is our "slow time" and the time of year we try to golf before season again and we have NOT golfed at all or done anything due to the terrible weather and craziness with the rain and winds. Good riddance to September, here is hoping October is nice this year...last year we had Hurricane Matthew two weeks before Halloween...I think we have all paid our hurricane dues already this year, fingers crossed.
