Lake time!

This week into New Year's we are enjoying some much needed r and r as a family at the lake! We have been absolutely blessed with the world's best weather forecast, highs above 80 and sunny every single day. The weather is perfect, sunny warm, no humidity or bugs, I could not ask for a better day than we had today! Screens open, sunshine, light breeze, minimal wind which made it pleasant to be outside and even to do water sports, yet we were not hot! Here are some pictures from our activities today. I got a new paddle board from Santa, I'm still learning to keep my balance as you can see from the photos, I was trying to take a picture with Jack and all you see is an empty board and a splash, ugh! That water was COLD!! Tomorrow brings another day of sun and fun and the leisurely pace of the lake and we can't wait. This place is good for the soul!!
