Four months!

Jackson is four months old, we can't even believe it! On the one hand, we can barely remember what our life was like before he was in it, on the other hand it seems like he was just born yesterday!! He is doing great, a little fussy this week, the daycare seems to think he is going through some sort of attachment issues......he likes to be held and he is fine...you put him down, and he is NOT fine. Poor little guy. We do hold him a lot and play with him, he's an only child for now so he has it good, but we do put him down too and let him play.........hopefully this time will pass soon and we don't get kicked out of the school in the meantime! Here is a picture of Jackson just about 4 months old wearing his special NDA bib Aunt Courtney was able to get. He loves to wear this big soft bib while eating his rice cereal.....next month we get to start trying veggies and fruit...yum!

Week in review

It's been another busy week of work at our house......things are picking up business wise at work for me, the days blend together, the nights are much too short and before we know it, it is Friday and we are SO happy to have the weekend to spend at home together just hanging out. Jon and Jackson are watching OSU football on tv together, and other than having friends over tomorrow for lunch and swimming, (this is starting to be a weekend trend because it is easier for people to come to us than for us to go out with Jackson) we've got no plans! That's good because next weekend will be busy, we're going up to Disney in Orlando with Jackson and 3 other couples, staying at a Disney hotel two nights and going to check out the latest and greatest at Epcot and we'll be able to take part in the international food and wine festival that is going on for the next month or so up there. Jackson also had his 4 month check up this week, everything checked out great, he is just over 15 pounds, in the 75th percentile for weight and head size, 50th for height.
Here are some pictures from this week!

Happy Birthday to our niece and cousin Elisabeth!

Elisabeth is ONE today...yipee! We wish we could be there to celebrate along with her but we'll have to settle for some play time over the Christmas holiday. We've booked our tickets......we're flying in the evening of the 22nd, and will be home for almost a week, leaving again on the 28th........get ready for some winter fun!! Here are some pictures of Elisabeth in honor of her first birthday!

Buckeye fans!

Even though OSU got stomped this past weekend by USC, (Jon is not happy), we still had a Buckeye party at our house to watch the game and even the littlest Buckeye was dressed to impress! Never mind the fact that he retired for the night before the first quarter was over:) It's another busy week at our house, race race race to get to work and school each day, then we run around at night getting ready to do it all again the next day, yikes!

weekend with Mimi and Papa

Jackson had two special visitors this weekend, Mimi and Papa! He was spoiled rotten on Friday with an entire day with Mimi and then we also got to go play at the beach on Saturday and watch the OSU game on Saturday night. We can't wait for them to come back for a whole week at Thanksgiving and Gigi and Uncle Jay are coming then too. Here are some pictures from our beach day yesterday! Thanks for visiting Mimi and Papa:)

Yeah for Saturday!

Today is Saturday and boy are we thankful. Jon golfed in a tournament this morning with a friend, Jackson and I slept in (up at 7am instead of 5:30 for me, yeah) and then we went to the gym where he took his morning nap in the gym's playroom swing while I attempted to lose more baby weight (not an easy task I am learning) and then we came home and just played and got the house ready for dinner with friends at our house tonight. In the process of our day, I took a lot of pictures of Jackson...he had a great week and received three more wonderful packages in the mail...check out his special Toledo Mud Hens gear the Wade family sent him! We'll have to take him to a Mud Hens game when he is older and we are visting everyone in Toledo. Also, check out what his blue onesie says......"attorney work prodcut"...he is the best work I ever have created in my three years as an attorney! My friend and co-worker, Rebecca got me this for him. As a fellow attorney and mother, she understands where I am at right now. Finally, check out the tummy time photos.......Jackson is getting stronger and stronger and better able to hold up his head and tolerate the tummy time......he did good in the beginning but after a few minutes he was frustrated and just put down his head, you can see the progression in the photos. Tomorrow we are taking him to church here in Vero and then we are going up to Viera to the Old Navy...we have a gift certificate Jackson received a while back and we're in need of some longer and bigger pants so hopefully we can find some!
